I kind of feel weird that she get so much money out of people in a blog about saving money. To save money you need to spends money now? If that was only subscription, it wouldn't be so bad, it's not so hard to justify 10$ a year and get enough value out of it, but most of her revenue seems to come from ads, so that means her viewer are spending so much more than she is making from them.

- nostrademons 7y agoHundreds of billions of dollars are spent on saving money - this is the vast majority of B2B markets. It's the easiest sale to make, because you can point to the amount of money you'll save and say "And I'll charge you 20% of that!" and it's a no-brainer for the customer. It gets a little dodgy when the promised savings don't actually materialize, which happens pretty frequently, but the sale itself is logical enough that people continue to spend money on products that promise it.
