Everyone always thinks the people of the past were idiots when in fact they were just working under different circumstances and culture. I wager that in 100-200yr it will be no different.
- jandrese 7y agoIf anything this is accelerating. Already people find a lot of behaviors that were acceptable in the 50s, 60s, 70s, and even 80s to be disgusting today. The #metoo movement is a prime example of shifting societal attitudes. It's happening so fast that people don't even have time to retire and/or die before their past behavior catches up to them anymore.
