- K0SM0S 7y agoMight just be their way of being funny, I wouldn't read too much into it. Self-deprecation is a common social cue to trigger some light, mundane empathy: "I struggle, you struggle, (thus) we relate!" I blame it on the spirit that being last in school is way cooler than being first, and I suspect it's as old as humanity.
- robbya 7y agoI read this as: a group of professional engineers dedicated to hosting/scaling a platform designed for hosting blogs will perform better than a single random person managing a personal blog in their spare time. I generally think that's accurate.
- oska 7y agoI dislike this formula of "Stopped reading after ..." that I seem to be seeing more frequently. Why not just make your criticism of the quoted text straight up? Why the rhetorical flounce out of the room?
- sergioro 7y agoI agree with your observation on how to improve my comment but the comment was past the edit grace period so i could not update it.
