My experience with Tesla AP: it's great for highways, but definitely breaks down on B-roads like this. I doubt Tesla will cover this, since AP comes with a million warnings to not rely on it in such situations.
- bouke 7y agoThe car has GPS so surely knows what road it is driving on. Why can drivers even activate AP on any road besides highways?
- stopads 7y agoBecause it's called "autopilot" and Tesla has already fraudulently sold millions of people on the false claim that it is an autopilot for your car. Gating or segmenting how it works exposes this falsehood immediately. We were supposed to have a million fully autonomous Tesla taxis by the end of last December, remember that nonsense claim too?
- tehlike 7y agoIt will probably cover now, given its current publicity, and good will i am hearing from tesla often.
