I would hazard a guess that this will lead to more anti-mask laws since politicians, who love appearing tough on crime, will view anyone wearing a mask as a likely criminal. Which will probably decrease crime but also effectively eliminate any checks on state power. How has this guy not been targeted by organized crime groups already?
