How do you determine if someone is good at something you are weak at yourself?
There is often this tip of "founders have to be the first salesmen of the company". As a technical person myself, I find it much more logical to determine if someone is good (or at least acceptable) at something I am myself good at, hire him and learn the missing thing myself, which would make me qualified to hire for that position, too.
I also don't think that people have to be "on the spectrum" or socially incompetent to have technical skills. I don't like it, when soft skills are treated as hard skills. I think if your soft skills are lacking, most people should improve on them instead of hiding behind their weird scientist/computer nerd persona. On the other hand I also think, if you only have soft skills and e.g. your network is not literally worth millions so your soft skills essential turn hard skills, you don't have any skills at all and you should learn something.
