I tell my son that we used to have slugs every where and most every (non summer) morning was foggy until noon. It's -40C in Canada where I am currently. Not uncommon, honestly. What is uncommon though, is that the rest of the winter has been very mild. My wife tells similar stories of skating on a local creek that used to freeze at the end of November...
