I've got a tangential question, and I think it's worth asking here.
With the precision ML requires, why aren't data scientists rushing from Python, to a language with a stronger type system?
- mattnewton 7y agoMost machine learning doesn't work the first time and required rapid iteration outside of your production system in my experience. Then, when you finally get a model, you can put those weights into your stable production system that has all the automated testing and is written in a typed language.
