Dump memory and see if you can retrieve the config that's running. If someone has a clue about how the config should be, you could probably get all the elements of it from simply running 'strings' on the binary. You could also disassemble the binary. Possibly the deleted config file could be salvaged from disk. As is, this is all relying on the HW not giving up and the UPS working in a power failure!
