How almost no one understands that simply trading your time as units for money is ridiculous.
- polyterative 7y agoCan you elaborate please?
- jonwinstanley 7y agoOn your own, you only have 1 person's time to trade for money, but once you employ others you have a multiplier.
- homonculus1 7y agoIn other words, you're the sucker if you're not exploiting others.
- ipnon 7y agoAn equally terse generalization: You're trading your labor for money. Your time is marginally valuable.
- Infinitesimus 7y agoIt's often about time instead labor for those not self-employed though. Time has a universal ceiling for us humans and is the ultimate boundary
- webew 7y agoIn nature, everything is free. If you're an engineer here, you'll find something there, too.
- sumedh 7y agoWhat is your solution go back to a barter system?
- ggambetta 7y agoNo, he's saying "run a company", essentially.
- anotheryou 7y agobut running things yourself means networking and financial risk. not everyone is good at that or can afford it
