I thought the serious concerns were in reference to how they handled the warrants to wiretap Carter Page, which the NYT article you linked to in your previous comment mentions: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/12/09/us/politics/fbi-ig-report-russia-investigation.html https://www.nytimes.com/2019/12/09/us/politics/fbi-ig-report...
- jklinger410 7y agoThere were many issues with the investigation that negatively impacted the outcome. Including misleading warrants and withholding contradicting evidence from the court. Considering nothing happened after the Mueller investigation, I consider the improper handling to be at least partially responsible for the lack of action. But since I'm going to keep getting downvoted on here for pointing out facts, just because people don't like them, this will be my last comment on the topic.
- chance_state 7y agoIt's not because "people don't like" what you're saying, it's because what you're saying isn't true and most people would rather downvote than take the time to respond to nonsensical far-right talking points. > Considering nothing happened after the Mueller investigation, I consider the improper handling to be at least partially responsible for the lack of action. Nothing happened? I seem to remember a few indictments and jail sentences. Do I need to list them all?
- jklinger410 7y agoI could find 100 sources spanning both the left and the right that will detail the mistakes made by the FBI. Considering that Trump is still president, and all of the Americans prosecuted were for lying to the investigators, not for colluding with Russia, I think it's safe to say nothing happened. The report found insufficient evidence, and like I said, was plagued with mistakes by the FBI. You can say I'm "far right" if you'd like, but only I will know how stupid that is. If any one is repeating "nonsensical talking points" it is anyone denying that the FBI fucked the investigation up. But those talking points come from the center-left.
