The accreditation rules really bother me. Excluding people based solely on wealth is silly. I think you should be able to take a test to prove you know enough to invest.
- ketzo 7y agoEh. The U.S. education system has taught me that anyone* can beat any* test. Seems like there's value in saying "if you really fuck up, you are at least have a background that says this will not be your entire livelihood." *almost.
- edoceo 7y agoYou don't have to be accredited to invest. However, other accredited investors won't want to share the cap-table with you.
