does it mean instead of spending time on defining functions, we need to spend time on defining modules? what's the difference between modules in this context and functions in the `traditional` context?
- dgellow 7y agoAs far as I understand, a "module" doesn't takes parameters, neither return a value, but instead subscribe and publish to some queues? That can be seen abstractly as a function (topics to subscribe to) => (messages written to topics). I think that they are named "modules" to make it clear that it isn't a conventional function, but instead a block of logic that consumes and effects some message passing data structure. Just my understanding after reading the article ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
