This is terrible. Isn't free speech supposed to be a big thing in the US? He didn't condone violence. He made a joke. On a personal social media page. Are we not allowed to have opinions anymore? It was a political joke, yes, and perhaps in poor taste but it's not something that any reasonable person would interpret as a "threat". Whatever happened to educational institutions defending their staff, especially when they've done no wrong? The college basically just wants to "save face" and threw all values out of the window. This is not something to be fired over. I'm disgusted.
