The article specifies payroll positions. I don't know what that means exactly, but I assume it would discount sharing-economy jobs (are we still calling them that?).
- Bartweiss 7y agoIt excludes "unincorporated self-employed" people, which I think covers much of the gig economy. Even more relevantly, it means many construction workers, most painters, etc. are excluded.
