Why would the ultra wealthy not just store their assets in another country? Businesses and individuals routinely move to different states to avoid higher taxes.
- virmundi 7y agoBecause so much of their wealth are denominated in US equities. If your stocks are in the NY stock exchange, you can’t move them beyond the US government’s reach.
