I've only had the apple watch 4 and the fitbit charge 3, so I'm no expert. For the past 3 months I've been using the Xiaomi Band 4. Battery life is coming on 16-17 days of a single charge, has plenty of watch faces, push notifications and music control and its waterproof for around 35usd. I use it mostly to track my heart rate and sleep.
