Pytorch has a built in normalize function: https://pytorch.org/docs/master/_modules/torchvision/transforms/functional.html#normalize https://pytorch.org/docs/master/_modules/torchvision/transfo... It just subtracts the mean and divides by standard deviation, both in place.
