Firefox Download Counter - Impressive
- truebosko 18y agoSurprised it hasn't hit a million yet but it's going up fast. Awesome stuff
- bkrausz 18y agoThe site didn't go live until 11:16am PDT, so we're a tiny bit behind...we'll catch up fast though. Go downloads go!
- lpgauth 18y agoDoesn't seem to be loading correctly...
- Shadow84 18y agoI'm also having trouble. It also seems like the counter stoped! The load seems to be a bit much, either through the downloads or through the viewers of the counter :-)
- lakeeffect 18y agoYou have to wait a second for it to load, even after it looks like it is loaded.
- tlrobinson 18y agoAm I the only one who thinks this is silly?
- jlhamilton 18y agoI'd rather see them try to break the record for most browsers downloaded with BitTorrent during the first week of release.
- omouse 18y agoMarketing can seem silly when you're looking at it from a different perspective.
- rory096 18y agoIndeed. This world record stunt got quite a few media mentions, and while I'm sure they would have gotten a lot without it because of the release, this likely generated even more publicity.
- r7000 18y agoThis was custom-designed for the needs of all of the firefox download parties tonight to be projected up on the wall. There's a party 2 blocks from where I am I could check it out.
- gibsonf1 18y agoI have to admit, using Safari is a much more aesthetically pleasing experience than Firefox. Firefox is definitely more "geeky" and has great development tools though. The current version of Safari is a bit buggy, so I'm back to Firefox until Safari gets fixed.
