Our devices will establish connections automatically over mDNS Bonjour, automatically over AWDL or WiFi Direct or automatically over Bluetooth Low Energy. The pairing for mobile phones that you see in the settings is reserved for Bluetooth Classic which is what people commonly use for headsets.
