- leetcrew 7y agothe same argument could be made for elderly care. how many people in {insert poor country} could have been saved for the cost of one day your grandma spent in a hospital? most people have to work to accumulate money. once they've done so, they are a lot more likely to spend it on people and animals they know and love than some people on the other side of the world they've never met. I don't think this is inherently wrong.
