I have two main issues here 1) liveness is great, but you run into fundamental problems when you upgrade a data structure that’s actually in use in memory. This problem is seen during deployment in a compile-time typed language and in production in a runtime typed language. Also, the more we incrementally patch a live environment the harder it becomes to specify what, exactly, is running in production.
