A more problematic issue is likely that it sounds like there are only 34 MAX simulators available worldwide currently.
- sleepytimetea 7y agoAh...even assuming they could do 6 sessions in every 24 hours (and it took only one session per pilot), thats going to take a really long time to get the required pilot crews certified.
- bdavis__ 7y agoprobably each session in the simulator is 50 minutes. and this would just be something else added to the normal recurring training. commercial simulators are designed to work 18 hours a day, 7 days a week. you can use them more, but eventually you will fall behind with periodic maintenance and certification testing.
