I think cities could use good ebikes. Ones that can plug into the high-speed, high amp, chargers. Imagine charging an ebike in 3-5minutes and being able to go 70miles. People in cities would like to have an alternative to public transit and car ownership.
- jiofih 7y agoThis is reality in Europe today. The fast charging is totally unnecessary, you just charge it at home/work where bikes are inevitably parked for many hours.
- linuxftw 7y agoI would ride my bike almost everywhere if I didn't have to get on a street to do so. If there are bike-only roads, I would support this. I think the future is commuting carts. Small, electric vehicles that aren't on main roads that can cruise 20-30 mph and hold 1-4 people.
