Why would a non-human intelligence necessarily have a drive to “shape their environment?” Maybe a non-human intelligence would discover the inevitable end of the habitable universe and opt to just do nothing?
- whatshisface 7y agoNobody's going to pay for AWS hours for a lazy robot. They'll keep changing it does something. The human drive, which is not essentially rational, will give birth to the machine drive, which won't be rational either.
