OP made no mention of “psychopathic murder scenes”. He referred to clowns coming out unexpectedly, which seems in poor taste on the part of the video creator but is a far cry from a “psychopathic murder scene”. I am quite certain that if such a scene were spliced into any video I watched, even as an adult, I would never watch YouTube again, and I would make some mention of it on social media. We live in a culture where even the slightest faux pas sparks widespread outrage across social media, yet I have never heard of this being a significant issue. So it seems like this is not a common occurrence.
Have you ever personally witnessed a “psychopathic murder scene” being spliced into a YouTube video? Do 10% of videos really have this in them? I have never seen it once, in well over a decade of relatively heavy YouTube use. Most of my friends are in the tech scene and have children, and none of them have ever mentioned this as an issue either.
