It doesn't have to be sellable and it doesn't have to be shoddy security. Those don't come inherently with the product.
Nothing inherently wrong with mass data collection and analysis and nothing inherently wrong with an election being heavily influenced by that. If there were falsehoods advertised then the problem is the falsehoods.
