Assuming you were diagnosed with either, why is your right to lodging now gone? I smell a fat ADA suit brewing.

- j45 7y agoThe article focuses on hosts as well as guests - specifically identifying hosts who would be problematic or are scamming AirBNB
- randyrand 7y agoBeing a bad host or tenant scares people from the market, taking away housing from others.
- oarabbus_ 7y agoThis claim was also used as a justification to exclude certain ethnicities from being able to purchase homes in particular neighborhoods.
- nefitty 7y agoYou're comparing ethnicity and psychopathy.
- romwell 7y agoThat's why we have ratings: to see which hosts or tenants are bad. Only other people can decide that. We don't need none of that minority report preemptive bullshit.
- jameslk 7y agoNeither narcissism nor psychopathy are disabilities so ADA does not apply.
- zozbot234 7y agoWell, it's more that the ADA (and related regulations) specifically excludes conditions resulting in "antisocial" behavior from coverage under the Act. Narcissism and psychopathy would be in the same boat as, say, kleptomania.
- evgen 7y agoYour 'right to lodging'? Did you just make this up out of thin air? What is it that drives people to assume that they have a right to whatever it is they happen to desire?
