- dspillett 7y agoIt is possible for something to intentionally have a double meaning. Given the overall naming convention I'd actually hazzard a guess that Sid the ToyStory character was the initial reason for the name and Still In Development is a backronym.
- iso1210 7y agoI think it was a backronym, but it was referred to when I first used Debian in 2000 so it's hardly new
