Switched to Fastmail last year and I'm extremely happy with it. Best web interface and I can use the desktop clients I like, Google is actively working against this. Another great thing is I'm no longer worried of suddenly losing access to my mail account, because an algorithm deems me not worthy for using a "wrong" browser, setting etc. and we all know that you can't talk to real people at Google so the account will be lost forever.
