Of course you can be unscheduled for any reason in userspace, of course you can be rescheduled with completely arbitrary latency esp. compared to targeted wake up, and of course polling for lock availability in this context make you risk poor results. If under other oses this is vaguely better for this synthetic meaningless "benchmark" by miracle, I guess they have other issues (and yes, actually they have)
