Would it then be useful to have a lock that only spins if the current remaining timeslice looks long enough?
- thenewnewguy 7y agoI don't belive the kernel exposes timeslice information to userspace in linux. Edit: Also, you'd have to predict how long a spinlock was going to spin for in advance.
