  My three year old and I actually had a lot of fun with the Calculator app on my phone just a couple hours ago. He thought that me reading off large numbers was hilarious. So, yeah, Calculator is a pretty important feature.

  I read that Nintendo invented the "Game & Watch" games (pre-dating the GameBoy) after an engineer watched a businessman on a train entertaining himself by playing with a calculator.
