So some predictions for SW industry: * We would be still using Python 2 and Linux kernel 3.X somewhere in production * Google Fuchsia will reach beta * Go will not get generics * Rust won't reach dreamed popularity -- still deemed terribly difficult & non ergonamic outside HN circles.. * The AI hype slows down as investors realize most things sold as AI are not really AI. * Hopefully a well designed, productive native programming language emerges with top notch tooling and flow of programming similar to python.
