Basically how we do it in Norway, and probably lots of other countries that does it automagically. 1st of April every year we get our pre-filled tax form (digitally), which we have to look over. If we find it to be alright, we don't have to do anything (deadline the 30th of April) and the taxes have been filed. All financial institutions sends data to our tax office, so it's all there.
