A part of me wants to respond to this article with a simple "OK Boomer" because it's easy to see people using this story as justification for a weak "technology bad" argument. However... there really people who are hopelessly addicted to social media. They are a minority, but they exist. I think of social media the same way I think about alcohol. It can be great at times and in moderation, but it's highly addictive and can absolutely ruin you if you're not careful. The big difference is we don't let minors drink alcohol without supervision.
