Sounds to me that suspension for no reason teaches them to be sociopathic... but you are free to explain why small kids will take suspension as the correct sign

Sounds to me that suspension for no reason teaches them to be sociopathic... but you are free to explain why small kids will take suspension as the correct signal for behaving more empathically towards other. Wouldn't that lead to encouraging punitive justice as society does right now? Is that the correct non sociopathic path?
