Instead of trying to squeeze blood from the mammography stone that has failed to improve longevity in breast cancer patients despite enormous investment over many years, AI/ML need to take a broader perspective and look at modalities like circulating tumor DNA and 3-D ultrasound
- avocado4 7y agoWhy those two in particular? Especially 3D US - so far it's mostly been used for "cosmetic" purposes of getting a 3D picture of your baby. There hasn't been much clinical evidence to its usefulness from what I can tell.
