I don’t see this being a trap to anyone working in a real company doing software developpent for a living. Managers won’t let you recode the same thing over and over in various languages, and you’ll somehow have to maintain the software you’ve developped, optimize it, debug it, etc.. and that means go pretty deep into one technology..
