- iforgotpassword 7y agoCould this be used to detect the supported codecs of the browser and transcode client side? What's the performance and resource usage on chrome and Firefox, compared to native? Would it melt your smartphone?
- suff 7y agoUsing node to demo web assembly is like using a skateboard ramp to demo a Lamborghini. This is a great example of how node makes great things messy, complicated, and slow. Use it for route mapping, otherwise switch to a non-tirefire language. Node can't marshall binaries on its own, so it has to resort to these kinds of gymnastics.
