The sad reality in most organizations today is that buzz words are applied to existing jobs to make it look like progress. So yes, apparently you can rename your IT Ops team to DevOps and brag about "how you engaged your teams to move to a DevOps focus to better align them with company values while leveraging the low-hanging fruit within today's shifting economy" during an executive management meeting.
