If you do something with dev tools call yourself “devops”. If you run a few database queries better call yourself “data scientist “. And if your current buzzword falls out of favor then don’t change your work but find a new fashionable label. It’s an unfortunate state of the industry that we put value and prestige into ill defined labels.
