This is Capitalism 101, as long as there is no real consequences of ones actions (like polluting, causing deaths...), any Capitalistic company has to make more and more money each year. As the profit universe is not infinite they soon hit the thin smoke wall that is used as ethical barrier and pass through it. If we start to put CEOs and majority share owners in prison things will start to shift a bit.
