The Mandalorian could be the worst TV since the Ewok Christmas Special and still yield almost exactly the same numbers, in the present. From what I hear it's quite the opposite (personally I have stopped tracking Star Wars two films ago), but all that quality is only important for the long term outlook of the franchise.
