does that apply to billionaires and the ultra rich?
- 9nGQluzmnq3M 7y agoYes, because it's not that much more difficult to blow through a billion dollars than a million. Just ask Jefri Bolkiah, whose bill of amusements came to somewhere between $15 and $40 billion depending on who you ask: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jefri_Bolkiah,_Prince_of_Brunei https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jefri_Bolkiah,_Prince_of_Brune...
- Cougher 7y agoYes, it is that much more difficult to blow through a billion dollars than a million. The fact that one moron managed to waste a vast sum of money to amuse himself isn't proof of anything other than one moron was stupid enough to do it.
- mcphage 7y ago> isn't proof of anything other than one moron was stupid enough to do it. Look, if you need a second moron stupid enough to do it, I'm just letting you know, I'm available.
- ohithereyou 7y agoBrewster's Millions[1] pales in comparison to Brewster's Billions. [1] https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brewster%27s_Millions_(1985_film) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brewster%27s_Millions_(1985_...
- Cougher 7y agoI'll do it for a thousand dollars.
- mcphage 7y agoI see what you're trying to do here, and it won't work. Because I'll do it for ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS. Go big or go home.
- stjohnswarts 7y agoI remember blowing my first billion. I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to be poor.

- allannienhuis 7y agoThat's almost certainly a quote. Adding the attribution would have been helpful.
