You are right, carl jung warns against a too quick descent into the unconscious, and i did go through some disturbing things myself, as well. The ironic thing about <=1 meditations is that people often don’t do then due to a lack of will power. I see it as a hammer and a hard place, and as you said, the breakdowns are rare
