Ask HN: What did you get? What did you give?

Many of us have been opening presents, and watching others open the presents we picked out for them. What did you get that you're excited about? What did you give that you're excited for others to have? I gave my wife her first new camera in about ten years, and I'm excited to see the pictures she makes with a better camera and lens. My 8yo son got his first soldering iron, and some fun kits to build with it. I finally got a pair of noise-cancelling headphones, which I think will finally give me a way to listen to the podcasts I've always been wanting to listen to.
