This site makes me happy because it reminds me that other people are just as frustrated with stupid UI decisions everywhere. And that most apps are actually terrible by default. Including ones I've built. UX is hard.
- AtlasBarfed 7y agoUX is hard, but adding fashionable trends to UX just to arbitrarily kill off perfectly functioning and well-established interface paradigms really makes things hard. The UX crowd embraces this for the same reason hardware people don't support their software long-term.... it keeps people buying their services at a higher premium.
