  It's okay to collect the CO2, but what source of energy will be used to reverse the C -> CO2 reaction? Renewables and even nuclear are by far insufficient. Global warming is fundamentally a problem of sourcing enough energy in a different way than we used to. And the world/technology is nowhere near ready.
