Merry Christmas HN! Let us come together for the day, regardless of our intellectual stances and tribal identities.
Let the Linux nerds break bread with the Mac hipsters. May the Haskell devs write bindings for JS libraries. And the VC dreamers shake the hands of the determined bootstrappers.
Peace amongst nerds, for a single day.

Let’s forget all our quarrels and show all our deeds, we'll give the President all the help that he needs. Let’s all get together let bitterness pass; I’ll hug your elephant, and you'll kiss my ass! (1)I'm pretty conservative really but I can laugh at myself. As a boy I first read this poem, or an approximation thereof, posted on my Democrat uncle's (physical) bulletin board only for my Republican father to stumble upon. It always has made me laugh heartily upon rereading. So to my Uncle, my Father, all Democrats, Republicans and all Others, a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Happy New Year, Kwanzaa, or whatever holiday bless you and may a good New Year lie ahead for you all!
